Another Asian sunset; this time from Taipei 101!
Alright, so I know I said I'd be back from Seoul, but all I got there in the way of video turned out so dark that the internet would start to collapse into it if I uploaded it. So here I am in Taipei instead.
Apart from the Taipei 101, Taipei has a lot of skyscrapers, which is fucking rad if you're anything like me. Call me sleazy; I LOVE big, modern, opulent cities. So I dig Taipei. And apart from aforementioned skyscrapers, Taiwan's got a lot of Taoist, Confucianist, and Buddhist temples all over the place, and those are at least as gratifying to visit – the colors and decoration detail level are perfectly mind-expanding.
Also, everything here is hella cheap. And as opposed to Korea, Google Maps actually works here. Not that half the restaurants you look up actually exist in real life, but still.
And as for Seoul, that's fucking gigantic. Not 10 times as big as Busan, as I said in my previous video, but actually not that far from it if you count the metropolitan area. Getting around there is a hassle. Ubers are dirt cheap, but the whole thing's a bit too vast, even for a big city boy like yours truly. However, I didn't see nearly enough of it, so I'll still be back sometime. If nothing else, then just to do a proper video from there.
