Waddyaknow, it's... another damn meditation center!
Here I am upon the conclusion of my 3rd Vipassana meditation course, this time in The Netherlands – several kilos lighter both corporeally and mentally, as always.
I live by the words of the psychologist who introduced me to mindfulness meditation in 2013. He said that we should all meditate for half an hour every day, and that those who don't have time for that should meditate for one hour every day. Well, I actually didn't start meditating on an absolutely strict every-single-fucking-day basis until last December, but I'm clearly feeling the difference. In fact, if you only do it for, say, 5-10 minutes a coupla times per week, you might as well not. But if you wanna get the routine going, 5 minutes on a set time every day would be a great start. And, as it were, we really should all prioritize our mental hygiene as high as our dental hygiene. (Not my quote; still true.)
As always, here's the link to the online global Vipassana hub. And remember: If you're skeptical, you need to open your mind even wider.
