A medieval citadel in a Carpathian forest!
Yes, it sounds pretty metal. But apart from the area's many bears being as metal as bears go, the area around Rasnov in Romania is actually just all-round serene and pretty. Which, you'd have to admit, are not exactly very metal qualities.
But as I'm saying, I'd recommend it anyway if and when you're traveling around the Romanian countryside – which I'd also recommend. At least during summer.
Unlike, say, Poland, Romania's still inexpensive, and you'll find some impressive castles here and there. And the occasional citadel. And bear. Unless I get eaten by one, I will see you in 2-3-ish weeks, depending.
Oh yeah, and as I also said, you should check out this hella sweet prog band Byron from Bucharest. Here's their Bandcamp page: https://byron.bandcamp.com
Here they are on Prog Archives: https://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=5080
Here's their website: https://www.byronmusic.ro
Other than that, thanks for watching/reading.
If you wanna support a metal brother, you can buy me a coffee.
