Greetings from Bansko again-sko

Remember that cutesy little Bulgarian mountain town where I attended the Nomad Fest last year? Yeah...

Not here because of the festival this time, but because other nomads are still hanging around, because it's nice and cheap, and because it's relatively close to Romania where I gotta go for some business in the coming weeks.

Any and all such formal conveniences aside, Bansko is still a lovely place to visit, both in terms of the surrounding nature, its serene atmosphere, and, yes, the prices. But I suppose all Bulgarian mountain towns are like that, so you can go to either of those. We don't want the place to get overrun or anything.

Also, while you might not find any downright metal culture in a place like this, there was actually a minor local rock festival going on while I was there. Nothing I'd use website space on, but still.
