Introducing... Business networking for metalheads!

Yes. As that headline suggests, there's a new guy in town. His name's MetalBC, and the 'BC' stands for 'Business Club'.

While MetalBC still has its 1-year birthday ahead of it, it's already spread like wildfire on the northwestern European mainland, counting an impressive 8 chapters in Belgium, 16 in The Netherlands, and 17 in Germany. Apparently, this was a real need – I sure know it was for me.

So since I happen to be relatively close to Hamburg these days, I chose to attend the opening of the Hamburg chapter. And while this was a very introductory type of event, I am seeing potential here.

Around 25 metalheads showed up. We're talking people from their early '30s to their late '60s. And some of them have got some pretty wicked shit going on. Among others, I had the pleasure of talking to the owner of Bangalore Open Air and Running Wild's former manager.

I mean, shit. Oh yeah, and I went out and had a bunch of beers with the founders afterwards. Came all this way, might as well go all in. I love these guys already, and I'm totally coming back for the next one. So stay tuned for how things develop!
